Dose | Instill 1 drop (Atropine Eye Drop) into the eye(s) 40 minutes prior to intended maximal dilation. Maximum dose: 1 drop in each eye twice a day |
Contraindications | 1. Angle-closure glaucoma 2. Pregnancy |
Precautions | 1. May precipitate an acute attack of angle-closure glaucoma 2. Risk of systemic effects with eye drops in infants under 3 months-eye ointments preferred. |
