1. Acute myocardial infarction
2. Pulmonary embolism
3. Deep vein thrombosis
4. Peripheral vascular thrombosis
5. Peripheral arterial thromboembolism
6. Arterial thrombosis

Dose 
Contraindications1. In recent haemorrhage; trauma; or surgery
2. Coagulation defects
3. Bleeding diatheses
4. Aortic dissection
5. Coma
6. History of cerebrovascular disease
7. Recent symptoms of possible peptic ulceration
8. Heavy vaginal bleeding
9. Severe hypertension
10. Active pulmonary disease with
cavitation
11. Acute pancreas
12. Pericarditis
13. Bacterial endocarditis
14. Severe liver disease
and oesophageal varices
Precautions 1. Should be used with caution if there is a risk of bleeding including that from venepuncture
or invasive procedures
2. They should also
be used with caution in external chest compression

6. Abdominal aneurysm
7. Diabetic renopathy
Adverse Effects 1. Nausea
2. Voming
3. Bleeding
4. When used in myocardial infarction, reperfusion arrhythmias may occur
