Precautions | 1. Monitor electrolytes particularly potassium and Sodium 2. Hypotension 3. Elderly 4. lactation 5. Correct hypovolaemia before using in oliguria 6. Renal impairment 7. Hepatic Impairment 8. Prostac enlargement 9. Porphyria 10. Interactions 11. Gout 12. Impaired micturition 13. The infusion rate should not exceed 4 mg/min to reduce the risk of ototoxicity |
Adverse Effects | 1. Hypokalaemia 2. Hypomagnesaemia 3. Hyponatraemia 4. Hypochloraemic alkalosis 5. Increased calcium excretion 6. Hypovolaemia 7. Hyperglycaemia 8.
