Contraindications 1. Hypersensitivity
2. Children below 10 years
3. Pregnancy

6. Moderate to severe liver disease or unexplained serum transaminase elevation
7. Acute pancreatitis
Precautions 1. Renal or mild hepatic impairment
2. Immediately discontinue ezetimibe and any
H mg-CoA reductase inhibitor or fibrates if
myopathy is diagnosed
Adverse Effects 1. Diarrhoea, sinusitis
2. Pharyngitis
3. Cough
4. Arthralgia
5. Myalgia
6. Respiratory infection and fatigue
7. Hepatitis/increased serum transaminases
8. Increased creatinine phosphokinase
9. Myopathy/rhabdomyolysis
