About CSR Activities:
The Alkem Foundation works to improve access to quality and affordable primary and secondary health services for socioeconomically disadvantaged people. Critical interventions include needs-based cancer testing, cataract, tuberculosis, anemia medical camps, hygiene awareness, and youth health, focusing on girls. Alkem has also organized a medical mobile medical unit that provides medical services at the doorstep of villagers in Sikkim, Mandwa (Gujarat), Baddi (HP), and Raigadh (Maharashtra). There is also a dedicated health center in Sikkim and Badi villages.
In addition to the medical camps, the Alkem Foundation supports cochlear implants for many deaf children. It performs spinal surgery for those in need. A partnership with Tata Memorial Center (TMC) has been initiated to establish an advanced radiotherapy facility as part of the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Center (HBCHRC) in Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
