The Sanaka Educational Trust was founded in the year 2006 by Hon’ble President Shri Tapan Kumar Pobi, with a vision of setting up educational institutions from kindergarten to Post doctoral level under one umbrella, 34 acre campus in the heart of the industrial city Durgapur in eastern region, which is well connected by road, railway, and airport. When the government was striving for quality in education, innovation, socio-economic developments, the inauguration of Institute of Engineering & Industrial Technology in the year 2008 revealed the journey of Sanaka Educational Trust’s Group of Institutions (SETGOI), the only AICTE approved integrated campus in West Bengal. Soon thereafter, the Rani Rashmoni School of Architecture was established in the year 2012, Swami Vivekananda School of Diploma in the year 2012, Maa Sarada Nursing School and department of paramedical in the year 2017, Multi specialty 330 bedded Sanaka Hospitals and Shri Ramkrishna Institute of Medical Sciences.
The integrated multistoried building of SETGOI consists of well furnished airy class rooms, state-of-the-art laboratories for engineering and central Library, highly sophisticated air conditioned Computer laboratories, Studio for architecture, well designed campus with exception greenery around its surroundings. The teaching-learning process involves theory and practical orientation, tutorial sessions, Projects, seminars & workshops, industrial training etc. by our well dedicated highly experienced and qualified faculty members.
